Grant Application and Procedure:

All grant applications must be submitted electronically to be considered for funding for the following year.  The 2023 grant application is available July 1, 2023, and must be submitted by September 15, 2023.

 

Requirements:

To be considered for a discretionary grant, each organization must serve the people of Clark County Ohio, be a tax-exempt non-profit with a 501(c)(3) classification from the IRS and have a governing board.  A copy of your 501(c)(3) letter from the IRS must be submitted with your grant application.

 

Exceptions:

​

The Turner Foundation does not fund individuals, churches, legislative action groups, annual fundraising campaigns, scholarships, fraternal groups or political groups and issues.

 

Grant Schedule:

​

Applications are available July 1, 2023.  

Submission deadline September 15, 2023.

Response letters will be distributed to applicants by the third week of December.

 

Grant Awards:

​

In most cases, discretionary grants fall in the range of $5,000 - $15,000.

 

Final Report:

​

Each organization is required to submit a Final Report for each grant awarded the previous year.  We must receive these reports for your organization to be considered for additional funding.  Final reports for the 2022-2023 Grant Cycle are due November 10, 2023.
